Michele Owens' fight vs braincancer

Update: The last 2 weeks have been a true rollercoaster....we were told we were in remission 3 weeks ago. Then on Friday August 4th we were informed of the new completely horrible diagnosis, so far worse that 8 months ago...the cancer has spread to my brain.

We are completely shocked by the progress of the cancer into my brain and brainstem. We have chosen to work with the team at UT Southwestern Medical Radiation Department to help us through this fight. We start radiation on Monday August 14th - my birthday - and will continue for 10 days. In 30 days we will be given a new MRI to check the status of the tumors in the brain, plan the next round and find out what is the proper course of action to save my memory centers. We chose UTSW because of the potential of using the "Gamma Knife" procedure which may help protect my cognitive abilities.

I am not sure why we are are in this fight again and I know that God has a plan, but this is unimaginable. Our Doctors have mentioned that stress is very bad for what I am up against.  We just need to alleviate stress. We are also faced with the HUGE costs of treatment and are in financial crisis. We humbly ask AGAIN unfortunately to lift us in prayer & for help to  fight the financial burdens at this time.  We are humbly asking for anything you may be able to donate to my fight, as I have no choice other than fight hard with the team of specialists!!
