Thursday morning (November 29, 2018), my mom, Michele Martel Miller passed away. She was the most selfless and kind person that I’ve ever met. She deserved the absolute BEST. She consistently put herself last in every situation. My siblings and I will miss her every single day with every ounce of our being. There’s so many more memories that I wanted to make with her. Every person that met her would agree that she was a gift in their life—she radiated positivity and love out into the world.
Her wishes after passing were to be cremated, just like my dad was. My siblings and I want to put our mom to rest the way that she had wanted, and had relied on help from the VA since she was a veteran, but unfortunately they only cover burial services at a national cemetery. Going through with cremation services is proving to be a huge financial hardship for all of us to come up with the funds to go through with it.
Right now, we need assistance paying for this cremation service. This of course came as a surprise to all of us; we never thought this day would come as soon as it did. I make this account in hopes that some of you can donate anything at all, or at least share this page to pass along the message. Any monetary donation is greatly appreciated, and will help alleviate some of the stress we all are experiencing during this time.
