Michele and her son Gavin have suffered an unimaginable loss. On Saturday, November 7, 2020 Michele received a phone call that would turn her world upside down and change her life forever. The love of her life, Nick Andersen, was tragically killed on a jobsite.  In an instant, she lost her best friend/partner and Gavin lost his father.  At the young age of 32, Nick was taken from his family too soon. Like most young couples, there was no life insurance and no savings to help assist during the worst time of their lives. As if this loss wasn't enough, Michele and Gavin had to uproot and move out of their home since they couldn't afford to stay there. 
      Michele and her young son, Gavin, now have to start over and figure out life without Nick. Michele is a good person and too proud to ask for help, so I am asking for her.
     I know times are hard for so many right now but I'm hoping we can all come together and show our support for this family.  Whether it be a donation, sharing her story, or simply a prayer, my goal is to show her that they are not alone and maybe, just maybe, try to help get them back on their feet. I pray Nick finds peace knowing his family has a support system to help in their time of need.
 
A family statement from Nick's obituary read: “Nick was an adventurer. He spent his best days kayaking, camping, going to Met games and just being home with his family. But his greatest joy was being a father. He was the most loving father and husband. He did everything for family. He was the hardest worker; his dedication and patience were immeasurable. This hole that has been left in our hearts will never be filled.

But we loved you then, we love you now and we will love you forever...”
