The Michaud Family

Over the course of their short 50 years on this planet, Dave and Cher Michaud have generously extended their love, care, and time to many. They have given so much to our community, volunteering for a multitude of school organizations and events, being active in town government, and of course, giving their time to the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department.

Now, the Michaud family needs our help. As many of you know, Dave has been battling various forms of cancer since he was a teenager. Through years of on and off treatment, Dave has not only continued working, he has chaperoned field trips, joined zoning meetings, and attended his three children’s extracurricular events. Recently, Cher, who has spent years managing her husband’s care while also working full time and raising their children, was also diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. Her diagnosis comes at a time when Dave has also faced setbacks with his illness.


Cher and Dave have always been the first to step in with acts of kindness and generosity when anyone in their many extended families experiences an illness or loss of any kind. We have started this page to help provide relief for any financial burden they and their children face now and in the future.  It’s time for us to give back to them.
