Hi my name is Natalia and I am asking for help with my husband's medical journey. Michal is a very young 43 year old who has never had any health problems in the past, but today he is fighting for his life.

In the autumn, Michał was diagnosed with grade IV glioma, one of the most aggressive and deadly brain cancers. As long as there is even a spark of hope, I will keep fighting for him. I am asking for your help.

We have been together for over 20 years — almost our entire adult lives. We are raising three wonderful sons. Our youngest is just 2.5 years old and my heart breaks when I think that he might not remember his father. Our older sons are 16 and 22.

Our nightmare began in September 2025. Without any warning or earlier symptoms, Michał suddenly lost strength in his left arm and leg. We were scared and confused, but we never imagined it could be something so serious.

An urgent visit to a neurologist led to an MRI, which revealed a brain tumor. Everything happened very fast after that — a biopsy, waiting for results, and finally the devastating diagnosis: grade IV glioma, an inoperable tumor with an extremely poor prognosis.

Despite everything, we refuse to give up. Michał has already completed radiotherapy and is continuing with his chemotherapy. Sadly, his condition has deteriorated significantly over the last few weeks and he now relies mostly on a wheelchair and has lost vision in his left eye. Recently, he suffered a serious fall and had to be taken to the emergency room.

Those that know Michał are aware he was always an active, hardworking man — a true handyman who loved fixing things and caring for our home. Today, he knows he will never return to work. He can no longer do even the simple daily tasks that once brought him joy. As you know Michal is a true family man that always thinks of others before himself, which is making this journey even more difficult to navigate.

We continue to search for any possible treatment option and will continue to consult specialists, hoping that one of them may decide to operate.

We do not know what the future holds for us as a family, but we are looking for support to make sure that Michal has the opportunity to spend quality time with us as a family and has access to the equipment and supplies to make this difficultly situation a little more tolerable.
