On Wednesday night, my uncle Michael had a stroke that left him with weakness in his arm and leg. He will be in rehab for several weeks, working hard to regain his strength and independence. While he focuses on recovery, he won’t be able to work, and bills are piling up quickly (rent, utilities, and day-to-day needs).

This doesn’t just affect him. His wife Leah and his stepson Landon live in the home and are facing the same financial strain while supporting him through this recovery.
