Michael's Road to Recovery – A Humble Ask for Support

Five weeks ago, while loading our van for an art show, Michael suffered a severe herniated disc. The pain was immediate and overwhelming, leaving him unable to stand or walk without agony. Despite receiving an epidural three weeks ago, his recovery is far from over.

Right now, Michael is undergoing an intensive treatment plan, including physical therapy twice a week, spinal decompression therapy, Class IV laser therapy, and shockwave therapy—treatments he will need for at least the next 10 weeks. The doctors have explained that this will be a long and difficult recovery process, and unfortunately, during this time, he will be unable to work.

The financial strain of these treatments has been immense. Since they are entirely self-pay, and with Michael unable to fulfill orders or participate in our art shows this season, we’ve found ourselves in a position we never expected to be in. Asking for help is humbling, and truthfully, we wrestled with even creating this fundraiser. But after exhausting our options, we’ve come to the realization that we can’t do this alone.

Michael has always poured his heart into his artwork, creating with love and purpose, and it means everything to him to continue doing so.
