Michael's fundraiser for a tiltbed

Hi,

We are creating this page so that we can raise

funds for Torrington CICU (cardiac Intensive care unit) Ward at derriford hospital.

My dad Mike was under their care for four and a half months before he sadly passed away on the 11th of August 2023.

During his time on the ward he received amazing care from the nurses and the rehabilitation team, his journey was very complexed but they always got the best out of my dad with their ''can do'' attitude and endless patience.

We would like to raise funds for equipment to be used in others people's rehabilitation journey, another tilt table would make such a difference to the patients, we would like to raise as much as possible so please give generously, every little helps!

The reason we are choosing this rehabilitation (tilt) table is because my dad always looked forward using this table and when the table was unavailable as there is only one table in derriford, he would be disappointed due to the fact he had to wait a few days untill he could use it.

So by us raising funds for this table this means more people would be able to carry on their rehabilitation sooner due to the fact of derriford having another.
