Hello everyone, I am going to walk the length of Scotland this year from Kirk Yetholm on the border to Cape Wrath on the North-West pinnacle of the country. The walk will cover 537 miles and take roughly 42 days to complete as long as I’m not devoured by the Big Grey Man of Ben Macdui along the way.

I plan to start on the 11th of July and finish up around August 22nd, I’m in it for the long haul.

I’m also raising money for ‘HOPE’ a charity dedicated to helping recovering addicts and those with substance abuse problems. So feel free to donate to a valiant cause! It will give my quivering butt all the motivation I need to walk the 500 (and 37) miles!

HOPE: Our UK programmes support people experiencing homelessness and those recovering from addiction. Our Two Step programme typically helps around 25 single people experiencing homelessness to find accommodation every month, and our ODAAT programme (One Day At A Time) helps substance misusers to live in abstinent recovery. Our international development work is focused on a wide range of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals which are the internationally recognised priority areas for development.
