On May 5th, our lives changed forever. I received the most devastating call imaginable—Michael, just 25 years old, had suffered a sudden medical emergency and tragically passed away. He was healthy, full of life, and had started his day like any other. He went to work that morning, even sharing with a coworker how much he loved the rainy weather—it was his favorite. Not long after, he collapsed unexpectedly, and despite every effort, he could not be saved.

Michael leaves behind a heartbroken fiancée and four beautiful children who adored him. His passing has left an unfillable void in our lives.

We are a family living paycheck to paycheck, and we simply do not have the means to cover the cost of his cremation, let alone the mounting bills and responsibilities now resting on my shoulders as a single mother. We are grieving, overwhelmed, and trying to navigate this unimaginable loss.
