Michaels assault recovery fund

 On October 13, 2019 at 6:50pm my nephew Michael was attacked from behind be 2 other teenagers. Michael was hit several times with a claw hammer and fists. During the assault Michael lost Consciousness for several minutes. Michael laid bleeding from his injuries while several adults looked on and didn’t help him. Michael regained consciousness and was able to get help. Immediately 911 was called so that Michael could be rushed to the hospital. Upon arrival it was determined that his jaw was broken in 2 place, nose broken, cheek fractured and a 3 inch laceration on his face from the claw part of the hammer. Michael was then transported to our local children’s hospital for emergency facial surgery.   Once at the 2nd hospital the doctors determined that the jaw needed immediate attention. While given lidocaine Michael had to endure the surgeon wiring his lower to halves of his jaw back together while awake. He also received 10 stitches to the facial laceration. Michael was then admitted into the hospital for emergency surgery. On 10/14/19 Michael was scheduled for surgery but due to the unforeseen swelling in his face the surgery was postponed. Currently Michael is in surgery having plates and screws inserted in his jaw, reconstructing his nose and have several teeth extracted. Once out of surgery the journey to healing will begin. Michael will need several out patient dr visits and 1 more possible surgery for his jaw. He will also have to get teeth implants for all of the teeth that where removed. He will also be receiving psychological care for the horrific assault that he has endured. As we pray for his healing I am asking for any help towards his medical bills, dental bills, psychological care or any extra needs that may arise from this vicious attack. Mikey was Diagnosed with bipolar and autism as a child and with these injuries this is going to be a huge set back for him!  If you could please find it in your heart to help us out we would very much appreciate it!!!
