Hello! My name is Michael R. I have been a Type 1 Diabetic since I was 5. Before I was diagnosed my parents and doctors thought I had a brain tumor but it’s juvenile diabetes. I have suffered with diabetes since then for over 18 years. It’s had its ups and downs but after being Hospitalized for DKA (diabetic keto acidosis) Last November life has been difficult and it’s been extraordinarily difficult to maintain my health and finances.
