Michael's Battle: Family Needs Your Help

Hello, I am Michael Wilkerson, a 72-year-old family man and veteran who has fallen into dire straits, being admitted into the hospital with a severe spinal bone infection.

Being out of sick time, my company will not give me advance sick leave unless they can be assured that I would be coming back, so they are having me apply for unpaid family leave. That took away my source of income.

I have been advised that I am in for lengthy and extensive surgery with a lengthy stay in the hospital. I am asking for your help in keeping my family housed, clothed, and fed while I battle my illness. I have no way to concentrate on getting better and working the phones trying to keep my family together and safe.
