On January 4th 2016 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, ALL for short. I was taken to Largo Medical Center and shortly after transferred to Moffitt Cancer Center.
I have been receiving all of my cancer treatment at Moffitt Medical Center. I have gotten numerous platelet transfusions, blood transfusions, lumbar punctures, and bone marrow biopsies. I also under went two full rounds of Hyper CVAD chemotherapy.
After the first two rounds of chemotherapy I found out that my blood had a trait known as "Philadelphia like" which is chemo resistant. Shortly after I was put into a experimental trial procedure using CAR T cells.
During the trial I got sick fast which included a high fever of 104 .9, two seizures, a stroke, and a four day intubation. After waking up I couldn't walk or move due to my body being weak, this lasted a few weeks. At the end I was able to go into lodging which was supposed to be two weeks, it only lasted two days.
I was rushed to the hospital but this time it was Florida Hospital. It was there that I found out I had blood clots in both of my lungs. I had surgery that sucked out 70% of the clots in my lungs. A few days later I was transferred back to Moffitt Cancer Center and watched for about two weeks while using oxygen and being on a Heparin drip.
I have now been released from Moffitt Cancer Center and I am now in complete remission. I still have one more treatment to go which is a bone marrow transplant.
Although I am getting better my medical bills haven't and I am in need of help. I hate asking people for money but I am sinking slowly. I have medical bills in collections already and more bills coming up for the bone marrow transplant. This is why I haved decided to make a GoFundMe campaign.
