Michael Edward Puls ~ May 10th, 1952 - August 25th, 2017
Devoted loving husband to Misty, father/best friend to Sean, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.
This gofundme account was created as a memorial and family relief fund to settle his affairs and honor his memory. This will allow his grieving family to move forward unburdened by the heavy debts that were left from his prolonged battle with cancer.
Michael was well known and highly respected in the Dallas multi-family real estate sector, after 30 plus years, and over 150 major projects, helping to build the Dallas and surrounding metropolis' skylines as we know them today.
He completed over 600 multi-family projects nationwide and truly built empires for others in the real estate industry, and did countless pro bono work to help those who were struggling. The fund is important to show his family that his contribution will be honored and he will be remembered through this final gift to them.
Misty and Michael were high school sweethearts; they met as young teenagers, fell in love -- still going strong 43 years later. They recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary.
When they had Sean the family was complete. Every vacation, holiday, birthday and anniversary was spent together as a family, as well as with many of you.
The past year was spent regrouping after fighting & conquering a 2-year battle with cancer. He was trying his best to rebuild his business, and was working as hard as his body would allow. Because of his prolonged and difficult battle, the challenge was great, but he was determined and up for it.
Misty and Sean provided a healthy, encouraging, love-filled environment, and together they were all committed to putting the trials behind them with renewed determination, and they saw a beautiful second-chance future ahead.
Michael didn't get to fulfill his goals as he was taken so suddenly, and unfair as it seems, he left behind numerous business and personal unpaid debts.
Unfortunately, as of quite recently, the life-insurance policy had lapsed and he did not qualify to get it reinstated. So now these debts are left for Misty and Sean.
Michael would have given anyone the shirt off of his back, so it is very fitting to gather friends and family to help make this devastating loss more bearable for the two people in his life that meant the world to him.
All donations will work to help relieve the financial burden and pressure from Misty and Sean. Michael loved them with all his heart and the only thing he ever asked of anyone else was to love and take care of them.
Thank you all for loving them as he did, and for honoring his memory in this very tangible way. This family fund will represent Michael's final gift to Misty and Sean, through you, my friends as well as his dearest friends and family.
