I have not had the pleasure of meeting Mike in person, But i have had the chance to get to know him thru our job, and he is a very loving and caring man, who is devoted to his job, family and friends. Mike, has had some very troubling help issues and we would like to try and help take some of the releaf of of him and his family as he goes thru these troubling times,. We love and miss him dearly and praying for himand his family.. Rebecca Romero

I met Mike on a road trip back 2010 to Almaty Kazakhstan. We were there for an engine change. This engine change lasted a month. We were ready to go home because of the extreme cold temperatures and waiting on this engine to show up.  We would all go into some kind of depression, then Mike would come up with a one liner in his Alabama accent and we would all have a good laugh and the morale would be back on track. Mike celebrated his 55th Birthday in Kazakhstan, we were able to find him a cake and boy was that a fun time...

I got injured on the last day of the engine change, however between Mike and the rest of the group I got home to the start of my recovery.
About a month later I got a call from Mike telling me he got injured. First indication was hernia.
Mike went to surgery and it was discovered he also had an inoperable CANCER tiumma.
Then came Cimo for him and physio for me. We kept each other's company during this time. We both made it back to work in the fall of that year.
We made many more trips together and had great stories to share.
Then January of this year Mike broke the news to me that he wasn't feeling the best.
Then came March, we were in Canada when Mike had a relapse.
I went to visit my friend and was happy to see him in good spirits but he was in great pain. Mike is scheduled for a complexed surgery over the next few days.
Please keep Mike, his wife Dianne and his extended family in your prayers.
