Michael had a stroke at 4:00 am on Wednesday, July 6th.

Lost control of his motor skills and speech became slurred and unrecognizable.

Paramedics were called and took him to Good Samaritan Hospital where it was confirmed the problem was indeed a stroke. As a matter of fact, they diagnosed him as having one prior to this one and as a result could not perform they typical clot buster procedure as it would be to much of a risk for bleeding and could be very damaging if not fatal.

Michael's motor skills are still limited and speech is still somewhat slurred but understandable.

Cause -  They think it was caused from a hole in his heart and that the hole had been there since birth.

As of Saturday, July 9th, Michael was transferred to Kaiser in Redwood City. Further evaluation from the cardiologist was confirmed that he has a hole in his heart and it's determined that possibly he has Atrial Fibrillation which will require two additional proceedures to see if he truly has this.

Further evaluation will determine if he is transferred to an accute care facility in the next two to three days for rehabilitation.

As a result of being in between employment and not having medical coverage, Michael asks for any help you can provide to cover medical expenses, and assistance for his family.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, and we will keep updates on a regular basis of his progress.

Thank you
