Unfortantly Michaels funeral & stone.Has no approval yet May not cover, I and the family are raising Money for Michaels because life insurance policy was only written 4 months ago and it will not pay because it hadnt be written for 2 years after buying a policy which was very hard to even sign up with an insuance company.They have to do there investigation first to make sure he quilfied.' I know thats what I m thinking seems like once you pay it every month it should be covered. So now we are Raising money for funeral and Stone. I'm so embassed But it is what it is . I've had to live with that theory for a life time. Past info. Oct.2015.My name is Tonya Davis, and I am Michael Byerley's fiancé & full-time caregiver. I started this GoFundMe to raise money for him. At the end of September 2015, Michael experienced trouble swallowing. After much worry, I took him to the emergency room. On Oct 12, 2015, we received news that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I was shocked and devastated. Initially, the cancer was found in his esophagus & stomach. One week later, I found out that the cancer had spread to his bones, liver, and lymph nodes. Initially, the doctors decided to do radiation and chemotherapy. After realizing how much the cancer had spread, they decided to simply do aggressive chemo treatments. Plus he has a bloodclot in his lung. so I have to give him shots twice a day forever.after his insrance pay its part we have to pay 200.00 every 10 days. so just pray this all works out.Its a Nightmare we cant wake up.
Michael has many medical bills and unfortunately insurance will not cover all of them. These bills are coming in fast. We just don’t know what to do, so we are humbly asking for your help and support. If you are unable to donate, we simply ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers during this devastating time in our lives. I would like to take a moment and tell you a little about my dad. My dad is simply amazing. He walks through a door and lights up a room. It’s impossible not to smile at him; he is like a huge teddy bear. He will usually try to do something silly to make you laugh, and then he will laugh so hard at himself that it makes you laugh.
One quick story that sums up who my dad is: right after my dad was diagnosed with cancer, an anonymous donor sent him $200 in a card. Without skipping a beat, my dad pulled the money out of the card, looked down at me sitting next to him, and said, “Here Kenna, take this. You need to use it for your gas money.” My dad is going through a very difficult time both personally and financially, yet the first thing he thought when he got that money was to give it to someone he thought needed it more than him. He is the most amazing man I know. He has told me time and time again, he is not scared, for he knows where he is going. His faith is incredible, and he inspires me every single day to put all my trust in the Lord. He truly does not deserve to deal with the devastating disease that life has handed him, but I could not think of a more faithful, trusting, kind, strong man to deal with it. He is an inspiration to me every minute of every day.
Take some time to hug your daddy today if you still have him here on earth, and if not, take a pause, close your eyes, and feel his arms wrapped around you – and while you’re at it, feel God’s presence and peace around you too.
