I am a recent May 2015 graduate of the illustrious Howard University in Washington, DC with a Bachelor's degree in Dance. I have been offered the opportunity to join the Joffrey Ballet School as a trainee for the Jazz - Contemporary program on scholarship. As I am excited to venture onto my next step in this dream of mine, moving to New York City is going to financially straining. 

I am an independent student due to the passing of both of my parents. Tuition and housing can be costly on one individual. I would hate to allow a financial burden prevent me from taking on this amazing opportunity.

I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and look forward to everything that is in store for me. I appreciate any contributions  to my transition as it is greatly needed!
