Donation protected
Michael Todd Bilbrey, a 20 year old, college student attending Texas A&M and Blinn College was in an auto accident on April 10, 2016. He was taken to College Station Medical Center in critical condition with multiple lacerations and severe brain trauma. Michael remains hospitalized in a state of semi-consciousness awaiting transfer to a TBI (traumatic brain injury) Neurological rehabilitation center.
We are encouraged with Michael’s progress thus far, but he has a long and uncertain road ahead.
The family is hoping to transfer Michael to Touchstone Neurorecovery Center in Conroe, TX (just north of Houston). Touchstone has a strong reputation in providing individualized, post-acute care for persons with brain injury and other neurological disorders. As with any long-term specialized care, there will be a great deal of expense associated with Michael’s rehabilitation so any contribution toward Michael’s successful therapy would be greatly appreciated.
Prior to the accident, Michael was on track to enter the Mays Business school in the fall. Michael attends Grace church in College Station, has worked as a math tutor (accepting home made baked goods as payment) and also enjoys sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends & family.
The financial burdens of what the Bilbrey family is going though is too much for anyone to bear on their own, and this is an opportunity for us to help. Whether you can give a little or a lot, every donation will truly help.
Please keep Mikey, Todd, Krystal and the rest of the Bilbrey family in your prayers.
