Michaela’s Secret Angel Donation

Saturday November 11, 2018 approx. 4:30 PM. Michaela Starrett was out riding and training her fourth horse for the day before finishing up and turning in for the evening. The horse she was riding reared and landed on top of her. Note: A horses weight is approximately more than the average car. Now imagine that landing on top of your body. Unfortunately that is exactly what happened. Michaela was crushed by this large horse and it used her rib cage to push off to get back up.
The result was two broken vertebrae, and two other vertebrae fractured, so a total of five vertebrae affected, two broken ribs, and a broken pelvis.
She was informed by her doctor in ICU one wrong move could lead to total paralysis from the waist down. She has to remain in a flat lyeing position until she has a back brace. The back brace would allow her to be a little more mobile, but also allow her to start beginning stage of her Physical Therapy. Tonight she was told that in order to get her back brace she has to pay $1500.00 up front. THAT’S NOW!
I know I don’t have $1500.00 cash on hand just like that! I know there are many like us out there can relate! I want to help her we’ve got to help her get back on her feet. Literally and figuratively speaking!
Michaela Starrett is WITHOUT INSURANCE and we are asking for help to get her backbrace immediately so she can begin her healing process.
I can imagine her medical bill will be astronomical, I cannot stand by her side and watch her deal with trying grasp the thought of possibly giving up the things she has loved most, (which is riding horses), but also have an incredible financial burden weight on top of it all.
