Michaela’s leukemia fight!

Current status is I am now in a serious battle with GVHD (graft vs host disease) my donor cells are now attacking my liver, joints, and esophagus so we are going to up for a l other long battle so the doctors say more information is in the updates! We as a family are taking this as a set back but we will stay positive and get through it together through love and prayer ! Please if you can share my posts it would be very appreciated. 

“Hello everyone, here’s an update on my current battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This week, we sat down with my doctor and found out that after I receive my transplant, I will need to go to henry ford cancer institute 2 times a week for the next 6-9 months. With Cleveland  being 70 miles away, that leaves us with a 2 hour commute each appointment. We are currently a one-income household and as many of you know, there are seven of us. I have applied for financial assistance through cancer programs that assist cancer patients, but we are still awaiting approval and/or any assistance. Paul will not have paid-leave during the time I am under his care, recovering from my transplant. Which brings a lot of stress because we have bills, medical bills and every day necessities to pay for. I’m not one to ask for help, but times are extremely tough right now and I ask if you are able to help, no matter how big or small, please donate to help me and my family. A share, a donation, a prayer.. they are all greatly appreciated. I hope to receive my transplant and kiss cancer goodbye! I just want this nightmare to be over with already.
