Michael's Quest to Eagle Scout

My name is Michael Reuven and I began my scouting adventure at the young age of six when I signed up to be a Cub Scout. At age eleven I transitioned to Boy Scouts. Now at 17, I am an accomplished Life Scout working diligently and energetically to what has always been my ultimate goal, earning the honor known as EAGLE SCOUT!
One of the components to becoming an Eagle Scout is the Eagle project. This is an opportunity to give back to the community. For my Eagle Scout Project, I have chosen to help beautify the landscape of our local Chabad of Calabasas Synagogue. One of the many goals of Chabad is to drown out any darkness by spreading light in the world. Chabad welcomes those that need a place of worship and experience gratitude wherever they are. I believe that this warm and loving place should look as welcoming outside as you feel once you enter and meet the community. As part of my project, I am required to request donations to purchase the materials needed for the landscaping. Any financial assistance you can offer to help achieve my goal of completing this project will be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small, and in the event any funds remain after the project is finished, they will go directly to the beneficiary of the project.
