Michael's prosthesis
Donation protected
Unfortunately our son Michael had an accident June 3rd. And has had to have 4 surgeries since.. He lost 3 fingers on his dominant hand . One of those fingers was his thumb. We have learned since his accident just how important the thumb is. It is 50% of your hands function. So it is very important to get a functional prosthesis. We spoke to a specialist yesterday and it looks like his prosthesis will be about 50 thousand dollars. We knew it was going to be expensive. But This is way more than we he had expected. Michael is only 27 years old and has a long life ahead of him. We know he will follow his dreams no matter what. But having a functional prosthesis will make things a little easier. He just got the last of his stitches out. And he just started physical therapy. He still has a long road to recovery but is healing well. The next part of his recovery is hopefully getting a prosthesis. So any donations regardless of the amount helps.. We would greatly appreciate if you could share our link.. Thank you !!
