It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Michael Yonkman. Michael was with his husband Troy, visiting Troy’s family in Thailand. He passed unexpectedly on February 22, 2024 in Seoul, South Korea.

We are absolutely stunned and devastated by Michael’s unforeseen passing. This is a very difficult time for all that loved him both abroad and here in the U.S. Along with the emotional pain and shock, there is an obligation and a responsibility to help bring Michael’s remains home to the U.S. The goal of this fundraiser is to support Michael’s husband, Troy, to deal with the funeral expenses, as well as other expenses associated with passing of one’s life partner.
