The Chak Family would like to start a memorial fund on behalf of Michael, Mike, Mikey to help with his celebration of life service. Michael has been described by his family and friends as an outstanding man, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and beloved friend. He lived his 34 years with a positive outlook on life. Though Mike was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney disease, he continued his fight with an infectious smile and optimistic attitude. He lived with the belief that a person is not broken and that death, age, sickness, suffering, and loss are all a part of life and learning to accept it will help individuals live with a purpose. As Michael was a person of honor, he devoted and continued his career at Domino’s Pizza as a General Manager, whose leadership was inspiring to his employees.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Michael’s Celebration of Life Service. All unused proceeds will go to Michael’s charity of choice the National Kidney Foundation.
