Michael Yates Memorial Fund for Family

This fund is sponsored by Michael's employer to help meet the financial burden of this devastating loss and provide support for his and his wife's four collective children.

Michael C. Yates, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2022 of a cardiac event while at work. Michael was the beloved husband of Lee Ann Yates, devoted father of Wade Yates and Hayden Yates, and a loving father figure to Nate Smith and Cooper Smith.

Michael was a bright light, kind and giving to all and loved adventure. He enjoyed being outdoors and was constantly in the midst of woodworking and building something new. He loved skiing and played soccer and baseball in his youth. Michael's passion in more recent years was being with his family, creating a fun and happy home for them to share. He was a loving husband to his wife and partner of five years and a proud father to his boys. He worked for over 25 years installing sprinkler and lighting systems, and many of his loyal customers regarded him as a friend. His infectious joy and bright smile will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
