Michael Yale’s Recovery from parathyroid surgery

Thanks for viewing my go fund me. I, Michael Yale, am recovering from having parathyroid surgery and I am looking for some assistance. The medical bills weren’t all covered by insurance, and it was quite a procedure.

Earlier in the year, I began having issues with sleeping too much and other chronic energy and body issues. After waiting months to finally see a specialist, I was referred to several other doctors to find out why I had irregular readings on blood work.

A specialist found I have an overactive thyroid gland known as the parathyroid. It’s about the size of a walnut, when it should be the size of a grain of rice. We scheduled the surgery for Friday, Dec 1st

During surgery, after the enlarged parathyroid had been removed, my hormone levels didn’t recover as planned, and they had to removed a second parathyroid. The surgery took 4+ hours rather than the expected 45 minutes.

I am recovering at an expected rate, but suffering from results of hormone and calcium imbalance.
