Those of us who have been blessed with Mike's friendship are asking for your help to support his wife, Celia, and son, Shane, after his recent passing.

For decades Mike and his family have shared their home and meals and hearts with dozens upon dozens of friends and family. Mike was always reluctant to accept help or ask for it, but the first to offer help when anyone needed it. He spent the last several years of his career teaching for 18 Reasons, a nonprofit community cooking school that empowered the local community with the confidence and creativity needed to buy, cook, and eat good food every day. It's our turn to help his family. I don't have the words to explain what a good and great man he was... If you worked alongside him, shared a meal with him, laughed with him, gamed with him, carpooled with him, served with him... then you know.
