Hey Everyone!
I never thought I would find myself doing one of these.  Life has its way with surprises.  The good, and the not so good.  I'm starting this campagin to help Michael and his family with living and medical expenses.

In January, Michael was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. The first signs of this were symptoms of a late progression and had already spread to his lymph nodes in his neck.  Over the past two months, he has already underwent multiple procedures and tests that he has had to miss work for and has already put him and his family in a financial hardship.

Michael is now receiving all his treatment at the UNC Lineberger Comprensive Cancer Center.  He has an operation coming up at the end of the month that will be followed by chemotherapy and radiation, with the possibility of a major surgery that will be determined on his response to therapy.  He will be missing a substantial amount of work during this time.  And will have to drive daily to UNC for treatment, which is an hour drive away from home.

Michael and his family have a fight ahead of them, he has a loving partner by his side, as well as their beloved daughter Nora and has great family support.  We want to help support this beautiful family the best we can and felt a gofundme page could help us do that.  Michael is a hard worker, loving father and has a huge heart and we want to help them any way can through this difficult time.  Thanks for stopping by.
