Michael Vito Lomantini's (Lomo) Funeral Expense

Anyone who ever spent time with our friend "Lomo" knows that he knew how to have a good time, make people laugh, and make any event into an EPIC story.
What better way to honor our friend than to have a weekend of celebration that will be one for the ages!
In honor of Michael, we will be having 3 DAYS of remembering, laughing, crying, drinking, eating, loving and celebrating a man that was incredibly special to all of us.

Day 1: May 14, 2021
Where: Tin Roof Downtown STL
When: 5-8 PM
Attire: Wear your favorite STL Sports/Mizzou attire (backwards snap-backs are strongly encouraged)
*Food will be provided (while it lasts) along with a couple drink tickets for each guest. MASKS will be required when not actively eating or drinking, so be sure to have your mask with you.

Day 2: May 15, 2021
Where: Kirkwood Park
When: 11 AM - 4 PM
Food, games, and beer - all things our dear friend loved.
Food, beer, seltzers and non-alcoholic drink options will be provided. You can BYOB if you would like, but please no glass!
Come out and toss back a few, tell a few (likely inappropriate) stories, and honor Lomo for a day of fun in the sun.

Day 3: May 16, 2021
Where: Dogwood Social House, Ellisville, MO
When: 11 AM - 4 PM
Come out and enjoy one of Lomo's favorite days of the week - Sunday Funday! Play some games, get some food, and enjoy some beverages. Food and drinks will be available to purchase at the venue.

Come join us for one, two, or three days of celebrating our dear friend and giving him the heavenly send-off he deserves.

4/9/2021 update:

Thank you so much for your incredible generosity. We appreciate all of the love given to our family during this time. We can see that Michael made such an impact in so many lives.

In less than 24 hours, all of Michael’s wonderful friends and family met the original goal of $15,000! THANK YOU! The new goal has changed to $20,000. Again, this money will go directly to Michael’s family for any costs they may incur during this process. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This fund has been set up to assist in the funeral expenses for Michael Vito Lomantini, or as we all affectionately know him better as, Lomo. 


If you have one picture with Lomo, you have a thousand. His energy was magnetic. There was nothing that he didn’t make better with his presence. Whether it was attending almost every Blues or Cardinals game, or tearing up the dance floor at a wedding reception, he was one of those people that seemed to be in a million places at once. 


He was someone you couldn’t get enough of. He was stylish, handsome, charming, and did we mention athletic yet? There wasn’t a sport this man wasn’t the star of the game- except maybe the occasional bowling game (he was after all, human). His competitive nature, though intense at times, just showed how much he cared. You wanted to play well for Lomo.


He was the best hype man, your biggest fan, your partner in crime. He was Mr. Soulard. You’d be guaranteed to find him there and always welcome to join his party. He had an unmatched, original swag that made you feel lucky to know him. 


With all the ways to describe Lomo, all the stories, all the great memories simply cannot substitute having him still here with us. He was taken so suddenly from us all that it’s hardly something we can process. 


We are hoping this GoFundMe will help ease the burden the Lomantini family faces in light of this unimaginable tragedy for funeral expenses and serve as an outlet for those who want to help.
