We are devestated for this family as they have tragically lost their 11 year old son. Michael was taken to hospital on Christmas Day with a tummy ache and fever. What transpired in the days that followed is an unthinkable tragedy.

Michael was so brave test after test and fought so hard to pull through but he was not able to. His mother Meldred was by his side throughout and endured watching her son diminish day after day and night after night.

Our hearts are broken for Meldred and the whole family. Michael's little brother Joseph was also so incredibly brave for his big brother and mom.

We have set up this fundraiser to ensure the family does not have to worry about bills as they navigate the coming weeks and months.
