Michael & Toby’s Cycle (Glasgow to Inverness)
The refugee crisis is something that easily goes unnoticed, as we live our comfortable life’s, thousands of brave individuals and family’s make the dangerous decision to travel in search of a better life. Comfortability is something easily taken for granted, a luxury refugees aren’t granted, it’s easy to make negative assumptions around why a person would choose to search for a better life, but most, if not all of us, would choose the same steps to protect and care for our families.
Toby and myself will be bike-packing from Glasgow to Inverness, travelling over 240 miles. Travelling west from Glasgow to Tarbert and then joining the Caledonian Way along the west coast up to Inverness.
We’d like to try and do our bit to help this chase and will be contributing all the money raised to Refuweegee, a Glasgow based charity working hard to help those arriving and embracing them into our community.
Thank you for your support.
