Donation protected
While it has been several weeks, we are still in disbelief of the unexpected passing of our beloved Michael Stephenson. Michael passed away on November 24, 2020 in a tragic construction accident in New Hampshire at the age of 34. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, son, in-law, friend and so much more. For those of you that knew him knew he was a kind, gentle, passionate, talented, and truly special individual. For those of you that didn’t know him, you can read more about his life and love story, told through the eyes of my sister, his soulmate, here.
I personally will always miss and cherish his devotion to my sister and nephew. His friendship with my husband. His admiration for our daughter. And his never-ending spirit of adventure, love of exploration and tireless dreaming of what we will do and be when we grow up.
Please consider helping his family through this difficult time as they navigate this tragedy and move forward in life without Michael’s presence and support. Donations will go directly to his wife, Natalie and their 11-month old son, Charlie to help with future expenses related to education and travel to Michael’s home country of Australia so that Charlie can meet relatives and see where his dad grew up.
Additionally we would also like to take this opportunity to recognize individuals, like Michael, who unexpectedly pass away in construction-related accidents. Tragically, one out of every five workplace fatalities in the U.S. occurs in the construction sector. Please keep those who have died while working to support their families in your thoughts and recognize organizations, like O.S.H.A., that are committed to investigating these incidents to prevent future accidents.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Rest in peace, Mikey. We love you, always.
