In memory of Michael Stanley Kowal

Longtime northwest Indiana paramedic and videographer Michael Stanley Kowal, who saved countless lives while cheating death himself numerous times both professionally and personally, passed away at 4:15 Tuesday morning at Mercy Hospital when his internal slot machine stopped spinning at heart attack #3. Michael is survived by his son Zachary and his daughter Chloe.

Michael is also survived by all of the first responders who worked with him during all of his years of service. A small service not only does an injustice to somebody like Mike, who was larger than life, it also limits the ability of all of his colleagues to say goodbye one last time. Please, help give Krazy Kowal the sendoff that he deserves.
