Prayers for Michael Speedy Edwards 

As a lot of you may know already, our dear Friend Michael "Speedy" Edwards is in a very tough situation with Covid-19.  He has been in Grandview Hospital in Birmingham, AL since January 6th battling with complications from Covid.  We all know these are trying times for everyone.  Speedy works mainly with the Memphis Grizzlies as the Lead EVS/Replay Operator.  Speedy does so many more things than just be the Lead EVS on the games.  He has spent the last 13 seasons with the team in this capacity.  As we all know who work in TV if you don't work games most likely you are not getting paid.  

Speedy, has a very loving family of Amber, Shelby & Zac.  Along with his Mom & Dad, Brothers & Sisters and their extended family.  This has been a very devastating situation to be put in for everyone.  

I know being from the Great State of Alabama lots of folks just want to do something to help the family in this time.  This is a great way to help.  I know lots have asked, so along with his TV family, and the rest of his family, I am starting this to make a place to help. 

I found out this morning, January 15th that Amber and family has been called into the hospital to say their goodbyes.  I do not know what the future necessarily holds but I know over the last couple of years Speedy has grown closer and has a very personal relationship with Jesus Christ and it is very dear and special to him.
