Those of you who know me, know that I have suffered a great deal of loss in the past 3 years, although some expected, the two most unexpected were my brother and my father.

I vowed when I lost my brother to do something that scared me, that challenged and tested me, every year for 27 years for charity. This year is no different. Ocado have been supportive of my journey, my grief, and my team have stood by me on my best days and on some of my worst.

On November 30th this year across 2 days I will be walking from our Luton CFC to our Purfleet CFC to raise money for two separate charities.

PAPYRUS- Prevention of Young Suicide- in memory of my brother

British Heart Foundation- in memory of my dad.

My Traget 4k to split across the two charities. The sites, chosen because of how supportive Ocado have been, the distance between the sites, 55 miles. 55 representing the age my dad was when I lost him. The time of year chosen for my brothers birthday!!

I know you're in heaven, dancing and free but there's so much more you should be here to see.

So many things I never got to say, because I never thought, that you would go away.

I never told you, because I thought you knew, but would that have changed what you chose to do?

I am glad that you are free, from the fears held inside

But I wish you'd come to me, and put your pride aside.

It's a lonelier place, this world without you

I guess that you thought, this was all that you could do.

When I see you again, I'll tell you that you were wrong, and how much you've been missed each day that you've been gone ❤
