Michael Shay McHerron Funeral Expenses

Our brother & son, Michael Shay McHerron, was unexpectedly taken from this earth life on Sunday, March 17th, 2019 after an accidental firearm injury. This tragic event occurred just 18 days short of his 21st birthday. Michael, or Shay ( he went by both) was always smiling, outgoing, and very friendly to everyone. He would be that guy to stop and give you a hug or open your door, and made it a point to shake the hand of a veteran or give a few bucks to a homeless person. Michael Shay was a very free-spirited, independent kid who will be greatly missed by his many friends and family members. Unfortunately, Shay did not carry any life insurance, so on behalf of our family, in this devastating and humble set of circumstances, we have set up this Go Fund Me account to ease the burden of funeral/burial expenses and ensure that we will be able to celebrate the life of Michael Shay with a dignified send off to his Heavenly Father, void of worry and regret.
