Dear friends and family. It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing to you all the passing of our little brother Michael Schake. As you could imagine our family is devastated by this tragic news. We just went through this with the passing of our little sister Krisa. We never could have thought that it would happen again so soon.

Michael was a good kid who had a very hard life from an early age. He was a jokester and storyteller. He could always find a way to make you smile and laugh. That part of him got buried under his addiction. He tried many times to break away from it. Unfortunately he couldn’t get away from it.

As you could likely imagine these times have not been friendly to my family. We would like to give Michael a sensible funeral service but cannot do so alone. We do not like asking you all for help but do not have a choice at this time.

So you know where your donation would be used. Michael will be cremated and there will be a Funeral Service for him at Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home in Pittsburgh. The Funeral home is in the Mount Washington neighborhood and will be held on August 26th.

Thank you for considering to donate and taking the time to read about my brother Michael. Mike loved everyone, that’s just the kind of kid he was. Even if he didn’t know you directly. He had a huge heart.

Every donation will get us closer to putting Michael to rest peacefully where belongs. Here is a link to the donation page we have started. As you can see our goal is 3500. We hope to raise this amount by August 26th the day of his funeral.
