Hi. My name is Carly and it is with a heavy heart that I have to write this. Our family suddenly lost my brother Michael Turnbull recently in tragic circumstances. He married the love of his life, Claudia, a matter of weeks prior to his unexpected death. Claudia and her two children reside in Mombasa, Kenya and their whole world has been turned upside down. They went from living in poverty to living a comfortable and happier life with the help of Michael's kindness and financial support, however, Michael passed away before he had the chance to take out life insurance to cover his wife and kids in the event of his death, which he had planned on doing so very soon. So, as a family, we are all in agreement that we need to help in any way possible to raise funds to tide their family over whilst they are dealing with their grief. Any money raised will go to Claudia and her two children to help them pay their rent so that they don't lose their home for now, and to cover things like school fees and other expenses they may need to help get them back on their feet. Michael's wishes were that he wanted his ashes flown over to Kenya to be with them, which is expensive, so some of the money raised will be used for that. Claudia's children referred to Michael as 'Dad'. He spent months at a time visiting them over the years and had some of the happiest moments of his life in Kenya. Claudia and Michael were so in love and happy. They were true soulmates, and our family feel obliged to help them in their time of need.
