This July 2023 started out like any other hot July then it wasn’t. We were preparing to celebrate the 4th of July and then we weren’t. On July 3rd, 2023, our family got the news. I am not sure how long Michael knew before he shared it with the family. He is like that, pillar of strength, forever giving and an example of kindness. If there is a perfect soul, a forgiving soul. It’s Michael. ... Please don’t let it be so. But it is, Michael has cancer. As we sat in the Drs office and receive the worst of news. Michael as usual did not think of himself. He thought of his boys, his wife, his family. If you know him, you already know this I am preaching to the choir. You know!! Michael the optimist is fighting the good fight. We couldn’t be more proud. He said recently “I am grateful, there are many that have it worse.” I am grateful for you Michael. With that said I ask what can we do for you? How can we help you? Michael being Michael would never ask for anything. I will for him though. Please pray first and foremost. We serve a powerful God. Pray for healing in Michaels body. He has liver cancer. He is traveling to MD Anderson on August 29th and will be there for several days. There will be much expense in the coming days. If you feel led to give, please do! This family is so grateful for your heart. We are grateful for your prayers. Michael and his sweet family have already faced unbelievable challenges.
