Michael "Rico" Ashley

It is with a true open heart that I share my brother story with you. My brother is Michael Ashley but some of you may know him as Rico, a well known person in the Roseland area. He was a twin of his brother Maurice Ashley also known as Squirt. On January 21, 2024 one day after they celebrated their 41st birthday a sudden and unexpected car accident claimed the life of Rico. The pain our family is experiencing is unimaginable. Rico was a light that lit up the room with his presence and subtle charm. We are loosing all reservations and asking for help as we truly need it during this difficult time. We've learned through this journey that it is also okay and you are allowed to admit you need other’s help. We are hoping that with the help of his compassionate family and friends we can raise enough funds to alleviate the burden of funeral expenses during this incredibly difficult time. Please know your kindness and help during this difficult time is much appreciated. We will be forever grateful for you helping. Anything helps! And for those that are unable to help at this time, no problem! Know that prayer and sending good positive energy is also welcomed!
