Michael Releford

My name is Rae Ann Turner. I am an aunt of Michael Releford. This GoFundMe is in support of Michael’s family to help with funeral and burial expenses.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the sudden and devastating loss of Michael Ewing Releford on February 15, 2024. Michael was a loving and devoted father of four to Kiley, Airyana, Kenzie, and Michael, Jr. He was also a devoted partner to his fiancé Heather.

One of Michael’s most extraordinary gifts was his capacity to give love even in the face of tremendous personal pain and suffering. His unwavering love will be felt and cherished forever.

Until recently, Michael was the primary breadwinner for his family. He was a longtime employee with Braco Window Cleaning Service, prior to being laid off.

His family has a long, challenging road ahead coping with the new reality of life without him as fiancé, father, brother, nephew, and friend. Through this page, I'm hoping to help ease the financial burdens that lie ahead for Heather and his four children. All the funds raised will go directly towards funeral and burial expenses; anything beyond that will go for immediate living expenses.

I am also hoping to bring light to the suicide epidemic. Such a permanent decision has a lifelong devastating ripple effect on the loved ones left behind. For anyone reading this, know that you are not alone. You are loved. Never be afraid to ask for help. There is always hope and brighter days ahead.

The outpouring of love and support from friends and the community during this unimaginably difficult time means everything to our family. A financial donation, however big or small, will have a significant impact on helping this young family navigate the tough journey ahead.
