Michael Pothier's Fight Against Cancer

Michael Pothier is 58 years young. He served his country in the Coast Guard and is a very loved husband, father, father in law, son, brother, and uncle. He has spent his life doing the things he always loved and being the ultimate provider for his family. He is a strong minded individual with a heart of gold. 

However, just a few months ago he became sick. Unaware of the underlying circumstances, he went to the doctor to get checked out. We all thought it was just something simplistic, that some medicine could fix up.

But instead, we were told that he had a mass obstructing his esophagus, not allowing him to consume solids or liquids and that was just the beginning.

The mass was tested and he was diagnosed with Metastatic Esophageal Cancer that has spread beyond the esophagus.

The doctor said it was bad and gave us the news no person is ever ready to hear..

When your told that your loved one has less than a year to live, and that the cancer is incurable...time gets precious. But only God knows when it is time to go home. 

We ask kindly for donations, to help with medical expenses, as well as family preparation.
