Celebrating Michael

Independiente del momento que Michael llego a nuestras vidas, todos podemos compartir ese sentimiento caluroso en nuestros corazones por la bendición de contar con su presencia, amistad, apoyo, sentido del humor, y amor de Michael Pereyra. 

En nuestro caso, Michael vino a nuestras vidas de adolescentes en el colegio Juanambu en Cali, Colombia. Los años maravillosos y más divertidos que hemos tenido, todavía nos reunimos con la clase del 93 a recordar aquellos días, las fiestas de 15 a las que nos colábamos, las novias que nos peleamos, y las amistades que nunca olvidamos y celebramos cada vez.

Después de graduarnos, Michael regreso a USA a criar a su hermosa hija Natalia, luz de sus ojos y resplandor en nuestras vidas. Micheal trabajo sin descanso en la industria de medio y en algunas cadenas de tv como Htv y otras más, también ayudando a nuevos artistas a avanzar en sus carreras incluyendo artistas populares como Jbalvin quien hoy en día lo recuerda con mucho cariño. 

Michael transiciono a Planer IFE donde trabajo con Su primo Jorge Martínez y un grupo de tigres tenaces y expertos con Quienes viajaron por el mundo conectando gente, compañías , negocios y llevando éxito y sonrisas enormes a casa uno de nuestros corazones.

Uno de mis episodios favoritos semanales era encontrarme con Michael casa miércoles en la noche a jugar fútbol con un grupo de rodillones adoloridos que veníamos de todas partes del mundo a Miami y nos creíamos Messi y Ronaldo. 

⚽️ la mejor parte es el “tercer tiempo” donde hacíamos el análisis deportivo de la falta de nivel que teníamos en nuestro desempeño para llegar a la champions league en medio de unas cervezas y una parrilla hasta la media noche .

Luego, nos veíamos de nuevo en los fines de semana con amigos y familia en una casa, fiesta , playa, o algún destino del mundo como México, peru, california, nuestra amada Cali- colombia, Medellín, y Brazil y Rusia en la copa del mundo.

Memorias que todos llevamos y atesoramos en lo más profundo de nuestros corazones. 

Dedicado y amoroso padre, hijo, esposo, jefe, novio, amigo , compañero de trabajo y de parrandas, mejor amigo y para muchos de nosotros … otro hermano de otra madre …. Todos amamos a Michael Pereyra y hoy lo llevamos con nosotros a todos lodos en nuestros corazones y recuerdos. 

Luchar y enfrentar la depresión como enfermedades mentales y hablar de ello públicamente es sin duda uno de los más grandes y valientes legados de michael. 

Nos deja con total reconocimiento de la importancia de sanar nuestros corazones y mentes de todas aquellas lecciones de vida duras que debemos aprender en nuestro paso por la vida. 

Gracias Michael. Nunca olvidaremos esta valiosa lección. 

Ahora, te saludamos una vez más michael, y te presentamos con este humilde y sentido tributo en tu memoria.

Regardless of the moment that Michael came to our lives, we all can share that warm feeling in our hearts ♥️ of the blessing it is to have his presence, friendship, support, humor and love from Michael Pereyra. 

In our case, Michael came to our lives as teenagers at Juanambu high school in Cali, Colombia. The most fun years we can all have , we still get together with the class to remember all the fun times, parties we crashed, girlfriends we fought for and friendships we never forget and celebrate every time. 

After graduation, Michael came back to USA to raise his beautiful daughter Natalia, light of his eyes and sunshine in our lives. Michel worked tirelessly in the Media & Entertainment industry in some networks like Htv and others and helping new and coming artist get off the ground including popular artist of today like Jvalbin who remembers him dearly. 

Michael transitioned to Planet IFE where he worked with Jorge Martinez and a group of bold and tenacious moguls who traveled the world connecting many people, companies, business and bringing success and great smiles in each of our hearts ♥️. 

One of My favorite weekly episodes was to run into him every Wednesday night to play soccer in Miami with our group of semi- professional / semi- injured wanna be Messi’s and Ronaldo’s of all over the world with base here in Miami. ⚽️ the best part was the “third time” where we would debrief over beers and bbq until midnight to recall who far we are from the champions league based on our most recent performance.

Then, we would get together again over the weekend with friends and family at a house, or a beach in Miami, or a party, or a destination in the world like Mexico, Peru, california, our beloved Cali , Colombia, Medellin, and Brazil and Russia for the soccer World Cup. 

Memories that we all carry and treasure in the depths of our hearts. 

Loving and dedicated father, son, husband, boss, team mate, boyfriend , best friend ,  and to many of us … another brother from another mother… we all love Michel Pereyra and today we take him with us everywhere we Go in our hearts and memories. 

Fighting and facing depression and mental illness and publicly talking about is perhaps one of the bravest and largest legacies of Michael. He leaves us with FULL awareness of the importance of healing our hearts and minds from all the tough lessons we all need to learn as we walk though life. 

Thank you Michael, we will never forget this valuable lesson.

Now, we salute you one more time Michael, and present you with this humble and heartfelt tribute in your memories.
