Hello,

My name is Mariah and I'm fundraising on behalf of my dad who recently passed away from Huntingtons Disease on December 18th, 2023 at just 46 years old.

My Dad was diagnosed with Huntingtons Disease a little over 10 years ago in his mid-late 30's. This genetic disease runs in his family which unfortunately sent his mom, uncle, grandfather, and a few other family members to be sent home with the Lord in years prior. As this series of unfortunate events escalated so quickly, my family and I are in the processing of mourning all while trying our best to celebrate the life he was able to live in such a short amount of time.

We are devastated to lose someone we love and care about so deeply. If you knew Mikey, you would know he would be here comforting all of us, cracking jokes and making everything feel okay.

I am so deeply sorry to all of those who lost an amazing friend of theirs. He was a loved father, son, brother, cousin, and so much more to so many others. My sister; Mya, his dad; Miguel (Mike), brother Miguel, and sister Bernadette are all so entirely grateful for any amount you are able to give. Or to even share to those around you.

Thank you for allowing us to be able to celebrate the beautiful life my dad, Mikey, was able to live.
