Friends and family,
As many of you may know, my Fiance's family has been through quite the hardship this last year. During the holiday season right before Christmas, we found out my future mother-in-law, Stephanie was diagnosed with breast cancer. If you know her, you know she is a very prideful woman and elected to keep her battle under wraps. Just a few months later, all while trying to keep the family positive and just trying to digest her very own situation, we received the news that Stephanie's Mother, Honey lost her own battle with cancer. This news hit incredibly hard on everyone, as Honey was the rock of the family.
Now if we fast-forward just a couple of months to the beginning of June, we're all hit in the face with more devastating news. Our little brother, Junior (Michael), was taken to the hospital for lower abdominal pain. With only being 20 years old and a world-class athlete, maybe appendicitis worst-case scenario? No. Come to find out a few scans later, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. As you can imagine, at this point everyone is in complete shock and disbelief. Last week, he had a successful surgery and is currently awaiting the pathology report. Junior is the type of guy that would do anything for anybody that needed help. He's one of the most hard-working and genuine people I have ever met. It's truly unfair what they are going through.
With all that the family has been through, it would mean the world to help them alleviate some of the current and future financial anxiety. Junior's father is a long-haul truck driver and has to stay out on the road to support the family, making it very difficult to be with his boy in such a critical time. This family has given so much to so many, please share with your friends and family and consider helping any way you can!
Thank you!
