Michael & Pamela Bullock's Medical Travel Fund

Pamela, an 18-year employee with Thermo Fisher, and her husband Michael have been faced with the greatest challenge this year - a Cancer diagnosis. Michael's cancer is rare; he's been diagnosed with PDGFRA-associated chronic eosinophilic leukemia, a form of blood cell cancer characterized by an elevated number of cells called eosinophils in the blood. These cells help fight infections by certain parasites and are involved in the inflammation associated with allergic reactions. Coupled with his pre-existing diabetes, this cancer has taken a toll on Michael and Pamela, physically, mentally and financially. After months of treatments and overnight stays at Community North in Indianapolis, Pamela and Michael were sent to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for an extended and indefinite stay. While Michael is currently bound to the hospital, our IES Lilly team is helping support Pamela’s lodging needs. As an IES family, we wanted to share Pamela’s story, as many of you may have worked with her over the years. We have created a Go-Fund-Me in support of Pamela and her family.
Pamela is comforted in knowing that our ULS colleagues support the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, where her husband is receiving treatment, showing that our day-to-day work can truly impact our families and loved ones in ways that may be unknown.
Please keep Pamela and Michael in your thoughts and prayers.
