Michael Ostrander Memorial Fund- Help for Clarissa

On Wednesday, October 14, 2020, Michael Ostrander passed away, surrounded by his loved ones at MidMichigan Hospital in Midland, Michigan.
Diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma Cancer three years ago, Michael passed way too early, at age 23. He left behind his wife, Clarissa Mae Ostrander and two daughters, Mia Mae (4) and Bella Mae (2). He was an avid outdoorsman; loved to fish and hunt but even more so loved to spend time with his family and friends. He adored the giggles he could pull from his girls when he'd play little jokes on them and enjoyed playing funny videos for them on his phone.
Knowing how passionate Michael and Clarissa were about family, I was humbled to be asked to join them at the hospital in their last hours. However, what should have been a peaceful time, where Clarissa and Michael's family should have had peace and calm to grieve, was cut short by the logistical questions the hospital asked about his final resting place, concerns about medical and funeral costs, and that of raising her girls in the years to come without a father to lend financial and emotional support.
I'm posting this today to ask you to please consider a financial contribution to help Clarissa cover medical expenses (Michael's father has graciously offered to cover most, if not all of the funeral expenses) and to help her and the girls get back on their feet after the loss of their husband and father.
In doing so, you can play a part in helping her (and the Ostrander family) grieve and heal in the devastating days to come.
