Michael Ojeda's Celebration of Life & Remembrance Donations

On the morning of October 7th, 2024, our beloved father, Michael Ojeda, tragically passed away after battling Leukemia for several weeks. It was a Leukemia that showed up very quickly and it affected him very rapidly. He was in the hospital for a total of 8 days and he was surrounded by his kids and loved ones every single day. We made sure he knew we loved him deeply and he made sure we knew he loved us. He wasn't alone in this fight and we were by his side the entire time. He unfortunately suffered complications after battling it for so long and he fought for as long as he could.

On Monday the 7th he never woke up, and he went peacefully in his sleep. He was not in pain, and his fighting had come to an end. However he left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten, and we will all miss him very much.

Michael was 64, and he was taken too soon. He was the greatest father, the best realtor, and my best friend. He had such a strong personality and he loved everyone so much. He loved being a father and he was there for us when no one else could. He made so many sacrifices for us and we couldn't have asked for a better dad. He relished being noticed and he loved to cherish memories by taking photos of every gathering he went to. He loved to socialize and he loved to befriend every person he met, all while drinking a coke. He loved to dance and party, and he loved to share stickers and memes with everyone. He was so proud of his Argentine heritage and we were so proud of him. He loved all of his coworkers and he was such a dedicated and hardworking individual. His work ethic and drive is something I'll always strive to live by. He was my inspiration and my hero. He was deeply loved by his family, friends and everyone who knew him. His sudden passing was devastating and we are all sticking together during this incredible difficult time. He left us far too soon, and we miss him so much already.

During his final week, he was so moved and touched by everyone's support. He read every single comment and text that was sent to him and he was so blown away at how many people were rooting for him. You all really showed him that he was loved and you all really touched his heart. We are so grateful for everyone's prayers and kind words during this difficult week and he was so delighted to know everyone supported him and he never felt alone. He loved every single one of you.

We're raising funds to help cover service expenses for his celebration of life. This would include his cremation, transportation, casket, catering, tables, flowers, prayer books, the venue and other things. It has been extremely difficult to cope with this tragic loss and It's difficult to look at the future without him. However it's important to never forget him. He gave me the life I have today, he taught me everything I know, and I'll always remember him. Any contribution, no matter how small, will really help us while we navigate this agonizing grief. He was so young and we all thought we had more time with him, however while he may be gone, we should remember all of the good times with him. He affected many, and we will cherish every memory we had with him. We understand if you cannot contribute, but everyone is welcomed to the Celebration of Life. We all deserve to celebrate who he was and how he impacted us, and we all deserve to enjoy who he was one more time together. The information to his Celebration will be posted soon.

En la mañana del 7 de octubre de 2024, nuestro amado padre, Michael Ojeda, falleció trágicamente después de luchar contra la leucemia durante varias semanas. Michael tenía 64 años y se lo llevaron demasiado pronto. Era el mejor padre, el mejor agente inmobiliario y mi mejor amigo. Tenía una personalidad muy fuerte y amaba muchísimo a todos. Le encantaba ser padre y estaba ahí para nosotros cuando nadie más podía hacerlo. Hizo muchos sacrificios por nosotros y no podríamos haber pedido un mejor padre. Disfrutaba de que lo notaran y le encantaba atesorar recuerdos tomando fotos de cada reunión a la que iba. Le encantaba socializar y le encantaba hacerse amigo de todas las personas que conocía, todo mientras bebía una Coca-Cola. Le encantaba bailar y divertirse, y le encantaba compartir calcomanías y memes con todos. Estaba muy orgulloso de su herencia argentina y nosotros estábamos muy orgullosos de él. Amaba a todos sus compañeros de trabajo y era una persona muy dedicada y trabajadora. Su ética de trabajo y su empuje es algo por lo que siempre me esforzaré por vivir. Fue mi inspiración y mi héroe. Su familia, sus amigos y todos los que lo conocían lo amaban profundamente. Su muerte repentina fue devastadora y todos nos mantenemos unidos durante este momento increíblemente difícil. Nos dejó demasiado pronto y ya lo extrañamos mucho.

Durante su última semana, se sintió muy conmovido y conmovido por el apoyo de todos. Él leyó cada comentario y texto que le enviaron y estaba muy sorprendido por la cantidad de gente que lo apoyaba. Todos ustedes realmente le demostraron que lo amaban y realmente le tocaron el corazón. Estamos muy agradecidos por las oraciones y las palabras amables de todos durante esta semana difícil y él estaba muy feliz de saber que todos lo apoyaron y nunca se sintió solo. Amaba a cada uno de ustedes.
